While being able to withstand one gem isn't the same as being able to handle all of them, it points to a deeper potential. ![]() However, it has no effect, and Loki has to resort to tossing Tony out of the window in an attempt to eliminate him. Hoping to brainwash Iron Man and make him fight the Avengers the way he had Hawkeye, Loki taps the arc reactor in his chest twice. ![]() In 2012's The Avengers, Loki attempts to control Tony with the Mind Stone.
